Stanford Offering Free Online Course On Technology Entrepreneurship

Stanford University is offering two-part online course on technology entrepreneurship which, pioneered in Silicon Valley, is now spreading around the world. The online student community will learn the process of taking a technology idea and finding a high-potential commercial opportunity via video lectures, individual and group assignments.

The students will gain both knowledge and practical experience when they will form 3-5 member teams to work on their startup ideas. Moreover, Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and venture capitalist will share their entrepreneurial journey giving useful learning tips for young entrepreneurs.

You will also get the opportunity to view informative videos such as this one below -“The Business Model Canvas” by Alexander Osterwalder.

The course instructor is Chuck Eesley who is an Assistant Professor at Stanford University in the Department of Management Science and Engineering (MS&E). He has not only completed his Phd in related field but also founded three startups himself.

Stanford has already offered this course twice last year with overwhelming response from students around the world. Many alumni students went on to continue with their startup ideas formed during the course to create value in the real world.

The course has just started this week on NovoEd; sign up for the course and earn a verified certificate from Stanford University.
