Sony Xperia devices will have bezel less displays from next year

Remember the Sony Xperia XZ Premium? It is the flagship device of Sony for the year 2017. It offered all the latest features and hardware but its design was horrible. While all other companies are moving towards bezel fewer displays and Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a lot of bezels, even more than some normal looking phones.

Finally, Sony has decided to go with the flow and its next-gen Xperia devices will come with bezel-less displays. According to the Managing Director of Sony India, Kenichiro Hibi, “you can expect a completely new design from the devices”. Which means that Sony may finally leave its old design and adapts to new design according to the new standards. So there are chances that we will finally see Sony phones with minimal bezels and all the features Sony offers like the-the 960fps slo-mo video recording.

Sony will still focus on “premium mid-range” and high-end devices. But the other manufacturers are also making the entry-level phones. Let’s see if Sony changes its plans to focus just on mid-range and high-end devices.
