Sony has revealed its new mid-range phone in Japan with Snapdragon 630 and 2760mAh battery. Sony has not said anything over the availability of the device in other countries.
This phone is another device from its famous Xperia series,Sony named the phone “Xperia 8”. Here are the specifications of the smartphone.
The phone is equipped with a dual-sensor rear camera with a 12 MP F/1.8 main shooter alongside an 8MP F/2.4 ultrawide angle camera. Dual Cameras comes with 2x optical zoom, 120 fps slow-motion video, 4K video recording, and scene recognition.
At the front, an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture can shoot beautified shots through the portrait selfie feature.
Xperia 8 has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanding with a memory card. Smartphone has the Octa-core GPU: Adreno 508 with Snapdragon 630 chipset and runs on Android 9.0 Pie and Xperia UI.
Sony Xperia 8 comes with a 6-inch FHD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution display and weighs 170.00 grams. It has a Tri-luminous LCD display panel with the signature 21:9 aspect ratio.
It has the LED notification light, the design is very beautiful and secure as it has the support of Gorilla Glass 6 on front and back as well. It is also powered by Xperia’s signature fingerprint sensor which is mounted at the side of the phone. It is launched in Black, White, Orange, and Blue colors
The phone has the support of 4G LTE with the connectivity of USB Type-C, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, headphone jack. The 2760 mAh battery of the phone is very disappointing and sony has tried to cover it with 18W fast charging.
Xperia 8 is only released in Japan for now with the price tag $505 (80,000 Pakistani Rupees).
