While the action thriller fans have long been complaining about the trailers ruining a movie’s whole theme, Sony Pictures have taken things to a whole new level by uploading an entire movie to spoil the amusements. On Tuesday, Sony Pictures accidentally uploaded the whole movie “Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer” with the title of a teaser instead of posting movie’s trailer.
The link to the full movie which is now being removed and redirects to a blank video page stayed for almost 6 hours and attained around 11,000 views as well, as reported by Gizmodo. The movie “Khali the Killer” has a runtime of almost hour and a half, and was originally released on DVD in 2017.
As of now, it appears that Khali the Killer: Official Red Band Trailer was supposed to work around as a teaser trailer of the movie. But unfortunately, the uploader of the video apparently added the original full-length movie. It must also be noted that Khali the Killer has received some bad reviews from the audience and a score of 3.8/10 on movie database IMDB. In addition, the IMDB synopsis of the theme of the movie states;
“After deciding to retire, an East L.A. hit man decides to take one last job to help support his ailing grandmother’s end of life care. But everything falls apart, when he develops empathy for the targets of his hit, and he’s forced to make the toughest decision of his life.”
Moreover, if you are curious about finding out more details about the movie you can visit here. Meanwhile, the movie is only available on the online streaming website Vudu, whereas HBO Go, Netflix, and Hulu don’t offer it at the moment.
It is entirely possible that Sony Pictures knowingly uploaded the movie as part of a marketing stunt as the movie doesn’t cater good reviews from critics.
