Social Innovation Lab (SIL) is now accepting applications for the 8th cycle of The Hatchery, an early-stage incubator for novice entrepreneurs with great ideas and amazing initiatives.
The incubation cycle consists of four phases which help young entrepreneurs from idea to implementation stage, providing them mentoring, training and in-house support services. In past, startups like Rizq, Ravvish, AMDEN and Turr Lahore have successfully gone through incubation of this program.
SIL is a LUMS-based incubator which encourages and supports innovators to hone their ideas. It also works with international organisations on research and consultancy projects. The founder of Social Innovation Lab, Maryam Mohiuddin, is a champion for social enterprises and has helped different organizations across Pakistan. SIL also offers community engagement and immersion programs in Hunza and Thar to its startups in collaboration with local partners.
In addition to mentorship, training, capital and other support services, bi-weekly sessions are scheduled in the evening to facilitate students and young professionals.
Deadline to apply is January 28, 2017. Also, there will be an Open House at LUMS on 23rd January which interested candidates can attend and get any information about the incubation cycle.
