Snapchat has recently released some new features to its app after a major redesign that company introduced earlier this month, Snapchat’s is now presenting GIF stickers feature with the help of Giphy’s collection, the feature that looks like a copied version of Facebook-owned Instagram.
Interestingly, Instagram launched this GIF stickers feature last month for the app. It seems like now it’s Snapchat’s turn to copy some Instagram feature, as after Instagram’s new feature many users have shown a positive response to GIF stickers.
Snapchat users can use this feature easily, just select the sticker icon from screen editing bar, then tap search to bring up a list of stickers from Giphy. This new feature is pretty much awesome as your stickers are no longer in static form but they provide video format.
While other new features include tabs to both the friends and the discovery screens within the app so that user can view the active story more efficiently and easily.
On the other hand, after the redesigning of app company has been facing a lot of criticism, and with these new features, Snapchat is trying to gain users’ interest back.
Meanwhile, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel noted to be stick with his promise to shape Snapchat more convenient for its users and making improvements on new redesign according to the reviews.
Gif is now available in the Snapchat app, while Tabs will be available in iOS and Andriod in near future.
