Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel does not like the Facebook’s famous motto and business rule “move fast and break things.”
Mark Zuckerberg’s famous motto is popular even outside the tech industry. And the reason behind that is the TV shows like HBO’s Silicon Valley. Evan Spiegel does not seem to like the motto and said in an interview that there is no benefit of being really really fast because you are the leader and there is no one who is racing you.

Here’s what he had to say:
“One of the things that happens when you’re an innovator is there’s actually no benefit to being really, really fast. You’re the one creating the new stuff, so there’s no one who’s racing you. It’s actually very important that you are slow and deliberate.”
“It’s like, why?” he added. “That just doesn’t make sense.”
We know that the both companies are in competition and Facebook is copying Snapchat in about everything. And both Facebook and Snapchat seem to back up their words as Facebook quickly checks its new features with a large number of users and Snapchat always prefers to develop the feature internally first and then releasing it to the general public.
