Slow internet made everyone worried in Pakistan

Are you having a problem with your internet connection? then you are not alone there is a large number of people who are also having the same problem with their internet connection.

PTCL and many other internet connections went down last night as submarine cables go offline. Due to this People started facing the problem with browsing. Social media users helped the most to spread this news in the whole country. #InternetDown has become the top trending hashtag on twitter, people are making fun of PTCL and sharing funny jokes. Here are the few tweets trending on the twitter,

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) responded instantly after the chaos in the whole country, In its tweet, PTCL said, “We regret to inform you that due to international submarine cable fault, internet services are impacted across Pakistan,”

PTCL added “Our technical teams are working on fully restoring internet services. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.”

After PTCL response, other institutions including Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also tweeted,

PIA’s tweet addressed the issue coming in their system due to the bad internet connection,

In a press statement issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTCL) this morning, it has stated that the SMW-4 submarine cable has been fixed and internet connection is restored.
