Slide partners up with Etisalat to launch in UAE

Etisalat and Slide, a fast emerging content and reward-based app, today announced the launch of Slide UAE, UAE’s advertising and content mobile app enabling Etisalat customers to earn points for simply reading or engaging in rich content and partner advertisements through the new mobile app

Slide is free for download and is available on Google Play for all Etisalat Android users. Other features and ways to earn points include friend referrals, filling out surveys, partner app downloads and watching partner videos.

Users can then redeem the points for data allowances or free international minutes from Etisalat.  Also, for a limited time period, Etisalat will reward users with 500 MB mobile data upon registration.

Khaled El Khouly, Chief Consumer Officer, Etisalat said:  “We are always creating opportunities to leverage new mobile platforms and technologies that can benefit our customers. Slide app is simple to use, customises content as per customer interest and rewards users with international talk time and mobile data benefits. Importantly, it helps customers save every month on international calls and data because there is no limit to the amount customers can earn through simply using and engaging with the app in different ways.”

Junaid Malik, founder and CEO of Slide, said:  “Today indeed is a proud day for all of us. Etisalat-Slide deal will be the stepping stone in our growth in the Middle East. Etisalat team is the perfect partner for us as they bring on board all the regional knowledge and market penetration to help us grow in the region.”

Slide has over 7 million users to date since their launch in Pakistan and India in 2015. The company’s partnership with Etisalat will ensure increased reach and penetration in the Middle Eastern market. Our next stop is Saudi Arabia & Egypt and moving into every emerging market.
