Sindh High Court Website Hacked By Indian Hackers

In recent news, the official website of the Sindh High Court was hacked by a group of hackers known as the ‘Indian Cyber Troops’. The hackers had claimed the website on Sunday before it was recovered.

In regards to this hacking, the officials of the SHC did not place a comment at all. However, it is to be noted that this is not the first time that an official Pakistani government-based website was compromised as other institutions such as educational institutions were hacked by Indian hackers known as ICREW Hackers.

Apart from that, the website of the Sindh Investment Department had been hacked in November 2020 where a warning message was displayed on the compromised website as stated below:
“Student lives are no joke! Shut the schools down now. Students are the real assets of a country, don’t destroy your assets.”

It seems that the government needs to implement new safeguards to ensure that such websites are protected from malware and cyber-attacks.
