The Sindh government has set restrictions on public movement in the districts where the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be conducted on Sunday, December 8, 2024. The examination will be held across multiple cities at the following venues:
- University of Karachi
- NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi
- Public Health School, Hyderabad
- Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro
- Quaid-e-Azam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Shaheed Benazirabad
- Police Training School (PTS) Bus Terminal, Larkana
- IBA Public School, Sukkur
To uphold public order and guarantee transparency, the Sindh government has enacted Section 144 in the areas surrounding the examination centers. A notification disseminated by the Sindh Home Department on Friday delineated essential directives for the examination day, which include a stringent prohibition on mobile phones and women’s purses within the examination venues.
Furthermore, the newly established guidelines mandate that candidates present their original admit slip along with one of the following forms of identification for verification:
- CNIC
- Juvenile Card
- Passport
- Matriculation Marksheet
- Intermediate Marksheet
