Zeeshan Rehman Khattak has been officially confirmed as Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) following his appointment by the Federal Government.
Khattak served as the Pakistan Software Export Board’s (PSEB) Chief Commercial Officer before joining SECP. In addition to crafting national-level policy, he plays an important in promoting the expansion of the IT industry and building trade partnerships. His extensive experience in infrastructure development, strategic planning, and governance is further demonstrated by his additional roles as Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Industry Development Officer, and Acting CEO.
Over the course of his career, Khattak has worked in a wide variety of fields and locations. He has been a specialist in wealth management, regulations, real estate, and technology for over 20 years, and his experience spans both the US and beyond.
He completed his undergraduate studies in business and economics at California State University, Fullerton, in the United States. He then earned a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from NUST in Islamabad.
