Samsung’s midrange Galaxy A30 and A50 now launched in Pakistan

Samsung’s midrange smartphones Galaxy A30 and A50 are finally being launched in Pakistan, after their recent debut in India and China last month. The major hallmark for both devices is their premium design, infinity-U displays, large batteries, and new chipsets offered in a decent price range.

As far as specs of the devices are concerned, the new Galaxy A series smartphones feature a new Prism design with a lot of 3D rounded edges. Both devices have a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop cutout at the top. Where Galaxy A50 comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted within the display, the A30 has a conventional fingerprint scanner on the back.

The things that make Galaxy A50 superior is its 10nm Exynos 9610 chipset that has four Cortex A73 cores for processing more efficiently. Additionally, the phone comes with triple rear camera setup with a 25MP primary sensor along with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the front camera of the device is of 25MP. The phone is currently available in two variants i.e. 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB — RAM/ROM arrangement.

Getting inside the Galaxy A30, you will find Exynos 7904 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, dual 16MP + 5MP cameras on the rear, and a 16MP front camera with face recognition technology.

Both phones are available in white, blue and black color options. The price of Galaxy A30 in Pakistan is around Rs. 40,000, whereas, Galaxy A50 will cost around Rs. 52,000. The phones are currently available to all distributors of Samsung phones in Pakistan such as Airlink, Greentech, and M&P. They will go live on markets and online stores in a day or two.
