Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching refurbished Galaxy Note 7. It is the first official statement by the company about its flagship. The company has been in a difficult position with regards to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7‘s battery combustion fiasco.
Batteries of refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will be of smaller capacity compared to the original variant. The refurbished versions will have 3,200 mAh battery. The original variants had 3,500 mAh battery. The company halted the sale of the Note 7, two months after its launch, resulting in a huge loss for the company both in terms of money and integrity.
Apart from its battery, the company is opting not to change any other feature of the phone. Moreover, the new refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will be available in the market at around $611.
Samsung will start selling the new refurbished Galaxy Note 7 from July 7, 2017, starting from South Korea, the home company of the Note 7.
Similarly, the company is also launching its new flagship dubbed as Galaxy Note 8 on 26th August 2017. Now with the company launching two Galaxy Notes one new and other refurbished, it will interesting to see how Samsung lover reacts to this move by the company.
