Samsung has announced that One UI 7 will officially launch in early 2025. Although the release has been delayed, the wait is partially over as a test program begins today, offering a preview of some exciting new features.
Highlighted enhancements include better AI capabilities and an increased emphasis on writing assistance. These AI-powered tools will streamline the writing and formatting processes, provide text summarisation, check for grammatical and spelling errors, and organize your notes into bullet points.
One UI 7 Brings AI Transcription and Smarter Tools
One UI 7 will have an AI-powered call transcription capability, just like the Google Pixel phones. Simplified functionality and an improved user interface are other benefits of the major makeover. The new Now Bar helps simplify things by bringing together important actions from several programs, such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, and Stopwatch, to clear up the lock screen. Without unlocking the phone, you may quickly see important notifications and do activities right from the home screen.
The camera interface of Samsung’s One UI 7 has also been overhauled. For better accessibility, the camera’s buttons, controls, and modes have been rearranged. An improved preview of your photographs and videos is now available through the upgraded viewfinder.
Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States are the first regions to get access to the One UI 7 beta program, which starts today, December 5, 2024. Those who are interested can sign up for the beta using the Samsung Members app.
As previously stated, the stable release will not be available until early 2025. During the January Galaxy S25 announcement event, or at a later date, Samsung may formally unveil One UI 7.
