Samsung has rolled out another beta version of Oreo 8.0 for its Galaxy S8 and S8+, and by far our calculation goes its the fourth one.

The previous version was already stable but there were some bugs that had to be fixed. There was a wide variety of issues that are being resolved in the fourth beta version update. This update is weight up to 850 MB.

As usual, Samsung advised the users to back-up the data before applying the latest firmware. The user had to ensure that the smartphone should have at least half of its charging before installing the new beta software.

To check for a new software upgrade in Samsung S8 and S8+:

  • Open the “Settings”
  • Click on “Software Update”
  • Select “Download Update Manually”

Wait for few minutes, if the update had found, then proceed to download and Install it.

Samsung is yet to confirm that when the Oreo 8.0 update will officially be released to the public. However, it is expected to be launched in late January or February 2018.

This beta version is available for the owners of S8 and S8+ in the US, UK, and South Korea.

This version is in its early days as it might open for more users later.
