Samsung plans to showcase new wearable devices at IFA 2017

After the announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the Korean company is prepping up for a wearable showcase at IFA 2017 being held at Berlin, Germany. Huawei, Sony, Motorola and many other companies will be highlighting their products at the event as well.

Samsung posted a teaser on Twitter about the event and the slogan is “Your new normal” as it plans to reveal the Gear Fit 2 Pro and the Gear Sport. Check the teaser below:

Gear Fit 2 Pro will improve on the Gear Fit 2 and will be able to stream music from Spotify as well as tracking your swimming workouts, according to rumors so far. There haven’t been many details regarding the Gear Sport so far but it is expected that it may have an optical heart monitor whereas rest of features will mostly be related to fitness, as the name suggests.

Samsung will showcase the new devices tomorrow and fans will be able to watch the event through a livestream. Other than Samsung, Huawei plans to showcase its mobile virtual assistant. LG may showcase the V30 and Sony may also chime in with an announcement regarding Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact.
