Samsung Pakistan announces discounts of up to Rs.10,000 on Note 8 and S9+

Samsung Pakistan has announced discounts on the Galaxy Note 8, the S8+ and the S9+. The Galaxy Note 8’s price has been slashed down to Rs.89,999 from Rs.99,999 while the S8+ has been reduced to Rs.84,999 from 89,999. Last but certainly not the least, you can get the S9+ for Rs.111,999 instead of Rs.121,999 now.

Samsung Pakistan is Samsung Electronics’ subsidiary in Pakistan. They rarely launch official sales and most promotions are run through third-party retailers in open markets. The Galaxy Note 8 has a bezel-less Infinity Display. It is powered by an octa-core CPU clocking in at 2.3 GHz. There is a dual-lens camera setup on the back with a resolution of 12 MP.

The S8+ was launched two years back and it’s safe to say that it revolutionized the way we look at smartphones. It was Samsung’s first phone to feature an Infinity Display. It has a 6.2-inch display along with an octa-core CPU setup to power it up. Its single-lens 12 MP camera was acclaimed throughout its tenure before it got succeeded by the Galaxy S9+.

The S9+ sports a 6.2-inch display as well, running on a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels. With an 18:5:9 aspect ratio, the S9+ is perfect for viewing videos. The dual-lens back camera setup boasts an adjustable aperture rate, which helps the phone take breathtaking images.

You can get the Note 8 for Rs.76,499 from iShopping and Rs.75,449 from HomeShopping, albeit without the official manufacturer warranty. The S8+ is available for Rs.63,499 from iShopping and for Rs.65,499 from HomeShopping, again without the official warranty. Last, the S9+ can be bought for Rs.98,499 from iShopping (With official warranty) while a bargain price of Rs.96,999 from HomeShopping (without official warranty) is available as well. While these prices might seem like an impeccable bargain, do note that the absence of an international/manufacturer warranty plays a huge role in the maintenance of the phone and indefinitely, in its price as well. So, if you can compromise on the warranty, go for the options given above.

Note: All models on sale are international variants with dual-sim support.
