Samsung has just introduced it’s latest gaming laptop Odyssey Z 15 which comes with a Nvidia Max-P and an innovative cooling system what Samsung calls the Z AeroFlow Cooling System.
Samsung’s gaming laptops from the Odyssey series haven’t been able to capture much attention previously. Samsung is planning to turn the tables around with the sleek Odyssey Z model. The 15-inch Odyssey Z packs a 6-core eighth-generation i7 CPU and has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-P GPU. The laptop can support a maximum of 16GB of DDR4 RAM and has 1TB of solid-state storage.
Samsung has tweaked the style of laptop a bit. The keyboard has further been pushed away from the laptop’s screen to give space to the new cooling system that the laptop accompanies. Moreover, the trackpad has also been displaced towards left.
Samsung is marketing this laptop with the new cooling system which keeps the laptop chilled during hard-core gaming sessions. Samsung is calling this new cooling system as Z AeroFlow Cooling System with Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber and Z Blade Blowers. The system is a dual fan cooling system but Samsung has assured that the sounds aren’t much noticeable. Samsung says that the fan sound can go as down to just 22dB. Vapor chamber cooling systems are also found on some Microsoft PCs and on the Xbox One X.
As far as the pricing of these laptops is concerned, there aren’t any particular leads. Samsung plans to unveil these laptops into the global markets this fall while the product would be rolled out in China and South Korea this month.
