Samsung has designed a new dual wireless charger for Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Watch.
Wireless charging is growing in popularity and Samsung is no way behind in the race. The dual wireless charger was introduced today at Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 event 2018 with the new smartwatch. The charger was first accidentally leaked at an Amazon holiday preview event last week, even the event attendees were able to spot that the charger looked a lot like the rumored Wireless Charger Duo. The charger would not be similar to Apple devices since a user would need to place their Samsung devices on specific spots.
The Samsung Wireless Charger has two charging pads, with a flat area specified for the new Galaxy smartwatch and a propped up charging point that helps to your phone display visible during the charge.
Each charging pad has 12Watt of charging power, so each pad will support fast charging from Samsung or any other phone vendor. Together, the two pads looks like one of Samsung’s propped up charging pads joined together with one of its flat charging pads. Samsung already sells another dual wireless charger, which has two flat charging pads. However, this is the first dual wireless charger that allows users to watch programs and check texts while charging their phone.
The wireless charger comes in black or white. However, Samsung has not unveiled the price and availability information of the charger yet.
