Tech wizard Samsung gets permission to test its unmanned cars

It turns out that Ford is not the only company trying to achieve excellence in the field of autonomous cars. After numerous attempts Samsung a tech wizard has been granted permission to test its self-driving cars on public roads in South Korea, birthplace of the company.

The news was confirmed by The Korea Herald. It states that South Korea’s Ministry of Land, infrastructure, and transport granted Samsung approval to test out an autonomous vehicle on public roads in the country.
The vehicle which is being used in the experiment is manufactured by famous car manufacturing company Hyundai. Sensors and cameras are fitted in the car embedded with deep-learning technology to check the persistence and reliability of unmanned cars.

Moreover, they are also testing cars in extreme conditions to check whether cars can sustain inclement weather without the need of a driver.

Before Samsung, its arch rival company, Apple has also been granted the permission to test its autonomous car on public roads, and they are doing it quite efficiently.

Samsung is eager to participate in this race of autonomous cars because not only Apple but other tech giants like Tesla, Google are going ahead of them. The battle between Apple and Samsung has now been shifted from making better mobile technology to the making of autonomous cars.

Tech enthusiasts are waiting for the epic clash between Titans (Samsung, Apple) to see who is worthy of their praise and money.
