Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been launched in an exceptional event at MWC in Barcelona and people are loving them. Everyone is talking about the about the newly launched flagships of the South Korean tech giant. Samsung Galaxy S9 have various similar features and specs but they are also different in multiple ways. Though TechJuice has been providing all the interesting news and gossips of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ since last year, yet you need to have a look at some recently posted articles on S9, to know more about the flagships. Anyhow what you may not find there, is here, Galaxy S9 and S9+ have some difference and similarities as well, which we have gathered right here.

Design

As you know that the Galaxy S9+ is larger than the Galaxy S9, which makes it a better pick if you want a bigger screen or have larger hands. While each OLED screen has the same 2,960×1,440-pixel resolution, the S9 Plus screen is larger at 6.2 inches, compared to the S9’s 5.8-inch screen. And while both devices have the same thickness i.e. 8.5mm, the S9 Plus’s body is larger too. It’s 0.4 inches taller and 0.2 inches wider than S9 as well.

Where both devices have metal and glass designs with curved displays, S9 is smaller and lighter. Though the Infinity display remains for an almost all screen front with super slim bezels and curved edges same like last years Galaxy S8 and S8+, the S9 variants have made a little change on the back. The fingerprint scanner that was placed in an awkward position in the last year’s S-series flagship has been relocated below the camera setup in both flagships and we absolutely adore it.

Camera

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ have major differences when we talk about capabilities of the camera, even the way it appears is different. The Galaxy S9 has a single lens camera on the rear, while the S9+ has a dual camera setup on the back.

The “Camera Reimagined” slogan appears to be true after all. Galaxy S9+ is a phone with adjustable camera aperture. While both phones have Samsung’s fancy new 12-megapixel dual-aperture camera (which enables more light to enter by adjusting the size of the phone’s iris, same as a DSLR), only the Galaxy S9 Plus has a second 12-megapixel camera with a 2x telephoto lens for zooming in closer to your subject.
