Samsung Galaxy S8 users also face WiFi and wireless charging problems

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched for global sales just a few days back and Samsung has already started to receive complaints about it. The first complaint about the smartphone concerned its most significant feature, the Infinity Display. Quite recently, however, we have also started to hear users complaining about WiFi and wireless charging issues as well.

The issues were first raised by the South Korean users, who were the first ones to get there hands on the new Samsung smartphone before it was finally launched worldwide. After the global launch, the screen problem seemed to persist among other users as well. The WiFi issue, however, is rooted out of Korea only.

Samsung, acknowledging the said problems, is considering a software roll-out to fix the issues. Samsung has affirmed that none of the two issues relate to the hardware of the phone but instead are related to the software. Samsung told The Wall Street Journal that two software hotfixes would be launched, in total. One patch will solely focus the Korean customers who are facing the WiFi issue while the other patch will fix the more common red tint issue.

Apart from the aforementioned issues, a few user reports have brought another issue to light. Several users are pointing that their Samsung Galaxy S9 is not interfacing a charge refill from older wireless charging pads. However, Samsung hasn’t yet responded to this issue.

There has been a lot of buzz about Samsung humming in and out from across the globe. Definitely, the most of hype directly or indirectly relates to the latest flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S8. The smartphone has got widespread acclaim and even started to break some records too.
