The leaked specifications sheet of Samsung Galaxy S8+ lists almost everything you need to know about Samsung S8 plus including a monstrous display of 6.2-inches.
Samsung Galaxy will reportedly arrive in late March but the details continue to leak. VentureBeat’s Evan Blass posted the specs sheet of Galaxy S8+ on Twitter. Galaxy S8+ will feature a 6.2-inch “full rectangle” display, or 6.1-inch when rounded corners are taken into consideration. It’ll have Quad HD+ and Super AMOLED display and will be water and dust resistant. The other specs include 4GB RAM, 64GB memory, 12MP dual pixel main camera, 8MP front facing camera, and Iris Scanner. Powered by Android OS, it will feature wireless charging, as previously reported for iPhone 8.
The regular Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8 inches HD display. Both Galaxy variants may carry powerful Snapdragon 835 processors. Another rumor suggests that S8 and S8 Plus will be powered by battery of 3000 mAh and 3500 mAh, respectively. Samsung is reportedly outsourcing the battery production of Galaxy S8 to the rival, Sony, following the fire-catching debacle of Note 7.
Earlier this year, Galaxy S8 was leaked in a Korean video which showed that there will be no home buttons and minimized bezels. The Korean smartphone giant will show a teaser of upcoming smartphones at Mobile World Congress while the official announcement is expected to be in late March at a New York Convention.
Various big brands such as Sony, LG (G6), Nokia, Samsung, Lenovo, Intel, HTC, Huawei etc., are expected to showcase new smartphones and other technologies at MWC. Nokia teased on Facebook about the possible announcement of new phones which may be Nokia P1 and/or Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 3310 and MIKA, first ever digital assistant for telecom engineers. Huawei has confirmed that P10 will debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain on February 26, 2017.
We have to wait till MWC 2017 to see how far these rumors are true. We’ll keep you updated about the further development in the story.
