Android 8.0 Oreo was released last month by Google and it is currently available only on Pixel and Nexus devices. Other smartphone manufacturers are trying their best to update their devices to the latest version of Android.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be one of the first non-Google phones to get the Oreo update. Samsung has already started working on the update and some benchmarks of S8 running the Oreo update were spotted earlier. Samsung is now finally going to start the Android Oreo beta testing program for all users. There is no confirmation on when the beta test program will be launched but it is coming sooner than you expect. Oreo beta firmware versions will be G950FXXE1ZQI7 and G955FXXU1ZQI7 respectively. Google brought some amazing upgrades with the Android Oreo. Like the PIP (Picture in Picture) mode which will let you draw any app anywhere on your device. The Oreo update also includes the Project Treble, which will make it easier for the device manufacturers to upgrade their devices on the latest version of Android.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also get the Oreo update but the S8 is going to get it earlier. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will also get the Oreo update but Samsung might take a few months to push the update for them.
