A week ago a leak emerged on the scene sharing some specifications of Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. According to the leak, the company is making “Active” variants of its flagship Galaxy S devices for quite some time. Samsung introduced its first Active variant with the Galaxy S4 Active. The unique aspect of the Active variants smartphones is that they are more durable than their original variants and also house more battery power.
A new leak has emerged revealing detailed specifications of new Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. According to the rumor, the new variant of Galaxy S8 will be heavier than its original variant. The phone will feature a 4,000 mAh battery larger than its original variant which houses 3,000 mAh battery. The phone will ship with a feature 5.8-inch 2960 x 1440 Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 7.0( Nougat). The phone weighs around 207 grams and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
The phone will have two different colors, Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold. Galaxy S8 Active variant will come with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage capacity.
Samsung has not yet revealed the price and release date of the phone.
