Samsung Galaxy S6 users are in for a treat as Samsung representatives from the support centers have confirmed that the smartphone will be getting Oreo update. Samsung has already confirmed the update from Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S7. Now the S6 is, apparently, in line too. The news has been revealed by a reddit user CyberConCoder who got confirmation from four different Samsung representatives on this end.
This is a great news and a pleasant surprise as the smartphone manufacturers are not really known for supporting 3 version old devices. This is a first and we hope the trend continues.
