Samsung is set to enhance its upcoming Galaxy S25 series with significant memory upgrades, aiming to boost performance and efficiency. The base Galaxy S25 model is expected to feature 12GB of RAM, an increase from the previous 8GB, aligning with reports from sources like 91Mobiles.
It is expected that the Galaxy S25 Ultra configurations with a maximum of 16 GB RAM will be offered, which will enhance the operation of the device in multitasking.
These RAM enhancements are further supported by implementation of new and improved 12nm LPDDR5X memory chips that consume lower power and produce lesser heat when compared to their counterparts.
Together with the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, such enhancements should translate into better performance and smoother operation across the Galaxy S25 series.
The release of Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked launching event on January 22, 2025. The new generation will be made up of the usual trinity; Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra where each of the devices will be available in different variants depending on the users.
