The Galaxy S10 has easily been the most eagerly awaited smartphone ever since the new year began. With the Galaxy smartphone line’s 10th anniversary upon us, the launch of the S10 promises to be an epic moment in more ways than one.
Rumors and leaks have been around ever since June 2018, therefore, it’s hardly surprising that we know so much about the upcoming smartphone. In fact, Samsung itself is seemingly aware of this fact as it has allowed consumers to reserve the S10 on their official website.

Samsung has traditionally released two variants of each Galaxy smartphone that it has launched every year since 2014. This time around though, it is expected to showcase four variants, presumably named S10 Lite, S10, S10 Plus, and S10 X.
The sizes will range from 5.4-inches for the S10 Lite to 6.7-inches for the S10 Plus. The renders and leaked images suggest that the S10 Plus will have three rear cameras, a small cut-out hole located at the top right corner of its bezel-less display to accommodate its two front-facing cameras and yes, the back will be made of glass.
In contrast, the S10 Lite and S10 will have two rear cameras and one front-facing camera.
While the S10 and S10 Plus will have a curved Super AMOLED display, the S10 Lite will have a flat display. All three phones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor, have the Android 9 Pie OS and come along with battery capacities north of 3000 mAh.

The true object of intrigue, however, is the S10 X which is expected to host a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, four rear cameras, two front cameras, 5,000 mAh battery capacity, around 10 GB of RAM and an astronomical 1 TB of internal storage. Furthermore, this is poised to be the Samsung smartphone that will feature 5G technology.
No discussion of Samsung Galaxy smartphones is complete without bringing up the price tag. The S10 Lite, S10 and S10 Plus are expected to set you back by $850, $1,000 and $1,130 respectively.
And as for when you will finally get to see it, you will have to wait for Samsung’s Unpacked event on the 20th of February in New York.
