Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung is planning to launch its new Note flagship dubbed as Galaxy Note 8 on 26th August 2017. According to an online media outlet, TheInquirer Samsung is releasing its Note in August to diminish the market share of Apple, which will be releasing it’s iPhone 8 flagship in October.
The news itself is interesting as Samsung always launch its new Note flagship in September.
Samsung will hold a launch event for its new Galaxy Note flagship in New York. Earlier this month a leak revealed that the all-new Note 8 would ship with a slightly larger screen than Galaxy S8. It would also feature two rear cameras unlike its predecessor Note 7 which comprises of only one rear camera.
Moreover, the leak also suggested that it would be getting an enhanced iris scanner and screen embedded fingerprint scanner.

The new Galaxy Note 8 will also get a 64GB built-in storage with wireless charging option and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip to power it up.
The price of the smartphone as of now has not been revealed by the company.
The company has recently been immensely criticized due to its red tint problem in Galaxy S8 and S8+.
