It appears that the Korean tech giant Samsung is looking forward to launch a new variant of the Galaxy A50 soon, which will be called as the Galaxy A50s. As per a new report by GSMArena, an unannounced Samsung phone alleged to be the Samsung Galaxy A50s has been spotted on Geekbench site. The specs revealed by benchmark site hints the same Exynos 9610 chipset that also powers the standard Galaxy A50, would also be featured in the upcoming phone.
In the same manner, the benchmark scores of the Galaxy A50s are quite identical to that of the Galaxy A50. According to the site, the phone was running Android Pie and has 4GB of RAM.
Moreover, Galaxy A50s spotted on the benchmark site has a model number SM-A507NF, which seems to be a significant upgrade over the Galaxy A50 with SM-A505F model number. The Geekbench listing was spotted by Nashville Chatter, but we have come across a total of three Galaxy A50s listings on the benchmarking platform’s database, all of which are dated July 9.
As far as the specs of the device are concerned, the phone was spotted running Android Pie, Samsung’s in-house Exynos 9610, and 4GB RAM. This combination indicates that the Galaxy A50s will bring major upgrades in terms of brute performance. The single-core and multi-core scores of 1,685 and 5,446 are also in the same ballpark as the Geekbench rankings of the Galaxy A50.
So far, we are yet to come across any credible leaks or official teasers regarding the Galaxy A50s to know more about the phone. The phone is likely to come with an improved camera and design tweaks to distinguish itself from the Galaxy A50. Changes in the display size, dimensions, and battery size are also likely to happen but these are just speculations and must be taken with a pinch of salt.
