Samsung has taken veils off its newest mid-ranger phone — Galaxy Grand Prime+. The device offers good specs and a decent design.
Galaxy Prime + follows its predecessor from 2014 and offers similar design and aesthetics, which bodes well for users as original Galaxy Grand Prime was praised for its good looks and premium feel in the hand. With Galaxy Grand Prime +, Samsung has upgraded the specifications and added some new features to provide current users of Grand Prime with a worthy device for up-gradation. The device offers following features:
Hardware
The phone offers 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Users have the option to expand the internal storage with an external micro SD card of capacity up to 256 GB. It manages its operations with MediaTek MT6737T processor. It is a quad core chip with four Cortex-A53 chips clocked at 1.3 GHz. The device is is powered by a 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Camera and Display
The phone offers an 8 MP primary camera at the back of the device. The main attraction of the phone is a 5 MP secondary camera with a front flash that enables the user to take brighter, sharper selfies, even in minimal lighting. The phone is also supporting a 5 inch display of currently unknown resolution.
Software
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime+ runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top. It also supports the Smart-Switch feature, allowing a quicker and seamless data-transfer from their previous phone into the new Grand Prime+. The ‘Easy Mode’ feature allows the consumer to use the device more conveniently with a simpler home screen layout and straight forward application interactions.
Availability
Samsung didn’t mention any price at the time of announcement. Users will be able to pick their Galaxy Grand Prime+ in a wider range of colors, including; black, gold, silver and pink-gold colors. We will update you when news about its release date in Pakistan and price is made available.
