Ripple one of the top cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization has partnered with globally renowned payment service MoneyGram. The partnership that was announced yesterday appears to be a significant step forward in modern payment solutions, which are adopting the new blockchain based mode of transactions.
Ripple has confirmed the partnership with MoneyGram in a blog post yesterday, according to which Ripple’s XRP altcoin will be integrated into MoneyGram’s payment system. This new integration will help MoneyGram to solve one of the oldest and toughest issues faced by most financial institutions i.e. slow and long procedure of money transfer.
According to the Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, who announced the partnership in a company’s blog post, says,
“The payments problem doesn’t just affect banks; it also affects companies like MoneyGram, which help people get money to the ones they care about. By using a digital asset like XRP that settles in three seconds or less, our clients can move money as quickly as information.”
Garlinghouse has not only been speaking about the impact of digital currencies on financial methods but he has also been perceiving the advantages of XRP over Bitcoin, as the interest and trade of the crypto have increased in recent times. The Ripple that was trading below $0.60 last year’s recent months, has seen a surge in the price and is now trading above $2.
Altcoins continues to rise where Bitcoin has gone out of reach for small investors. TechJuice has developed quick guides for its readers to invest in various cryptocurrencies and here I’m sharing the one which will help you in buying Ripple.
