Ride-hailing service Uber launches its operation in Hyderabad

Uber yet in another impressive move is going to expand its operations in Pakistan and will now be offering its services to the people of Hyderabad. After Karachi, Hyderabad will be the second city of Sindh to be blessed with the services of Uber.

With this Uber will now be operating from five different locations in Pakistan.

Speaking about the launch, Uber Pakistan General Manager Safee Shah said, “We are proud to launch in Hyderabad which we feel is a market with great potential. We have set the standard for connecting people to world-class transport at the touch of a button and moving millions around the world every day. This launch is very exciting for us, and is aligned with our expansion plans in the country and goal to continue to provide people with safe, reliable and affordable transportation”.“By offering a friendly and reliable complement to existing transport options, we can help improve urban mobility in Pakistan while creating new, fruitful opportunities for driver-partners. Ultimately, we hope to reduce the strain on the city’s roads, and minimize the environmental impact of traffic congestion that is part of a growing economy,” he further added.

This move by Uber shows that the ride-hailing services are aiming to expand its operation in the region. The company is offering free rides to the resident of Hyderabad between May 4 to May 7. This move by Uber will surely increase its present popularity.

The company is now serving 450+ cities around the world. People are using the services of Uber due to its cheap rates and great customer service. The company is hopeful that the operation in Hyderabad will go great.
