After hacking FC Barcelona’s social network accounts, OurMine is back again and this time the unfortunate target is none other than arch-rivals Real Madrid. At the time of writing, their Facebook and Twitter accounts were still under OurMine’s control from which they posted their signature videos as well as one which shows a goal scored by Lionel Messi against the club and asked the account owners to update their security.
It has to be mentioned that Real Madrid and Barcelona aren’t the only victims of OurMine’s attacks. Sundar Pichai’s Quora account was also hijacked last year. The list continues with Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey also falling prey to them as well as Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg. The hacker group wishes to expose vulnerabilities in the top social networks being used nowadays by hacking accounts of celebrities and established brands.
