With the new academic year, the Punjab government is implementing technical education in public schools throughout the province. Students enrolled in this program will have the opportunity to learn technical courses during their middle and high school years, equipping them with the practical skills necessary for future success.
The Secretary for School Education of Punjab, Khalid Nazir Wattoo, has directed the printing of textbooks specifically designed for this program. Education officials throughout the province have been required to report on the number of students enrolled in middle and high school technical education programs.
Agriculture, IT, the health sciences, and fashion design will all be part of the course of study. These areas are designed to prepare students for real-world problems and job opportunities.
Wattoo stated that the purpose is to provide students with the abilities they need to succeed in professional settings. The government of Punjab is hoping to achieve this goal by giving students more opportunities to learn technical skills in public schools.
