Punjab Group of Colleges clinches top positions in Federal Board Intermediate Results

This Monday, Federal Board announced the highly anticipated results of Intermediate examinations. Out of the 60,000 candidates who appeared in Part-II, 46,000 candidates qualified the exam. The passing ratio this year remained at 77.41% which seems to have improved as compared to the last year.

Punjab Group of College (PGC) students, keeping the tradition alive, were able to clinch the top positions once again. Medical is considered a territory of girls and yet again they have proven it to be true.

Overall 1st Position is shared by three students of Punjab Group of Colleges. Overall, 2nd position is also bagged by the PGC student.

In the Pre-Medical Group, students of the Punjab Group of Colleges stood out by securing 1058 out of total 1100 marks, as the first position is shared among its three students namely Hammad Saleem, Masooma Zainab Bokhari and Momina Maham. The second position with 1057 marks has been secured by Muhammad Moiz Mubashir who too is one of the students of Punjab Group of Colleges.

In addition to that, first three positions in the Commerce Group too have been clinched by the Punjab Group of Colleges. Two girls and a boy namely Bisma Anwar, Mehran Habib and Aliza Shahid who secured 980, 959 and 953 marks respectively stood out in this regard. In total, 12 positions have been secured by the PGC students. Interestingly, to the competition, this time it has been so fierce and up close that a single position is shared among various students.

  • Hammad Saleem (Roll# 505999) notched Overall 1st Position and also, he stood 1st in Pre-Medical Group (Marks: 1058/1100)
  • Masooma Zainab Bokhari (Roll# 565954) achieved Overall 1st Position and also, nailed 1st Position in Pre-Medical Group (Marks: 1058/1100)
  • Momina Maham (Roll# 565955) accomplished Overall 1st Position and bagged 1st Position in Pre-Medical Group (Marks: 1058/1100)
  • Muhammad Moiz Mubashir (Roll# 506000) clinched Overall 2nd Position and achieved 2nd Position in Pre-Medical (Marks: 1057/1100)
  • Rabbia Sajjad (Roll# 583525) notched 2nd Position in Science General (Marks: 991/1100)
  • Bisma Anwar (Roll# 590268) bagged 1st Position in Commerce Group (Marks: 980/1100)
  • Mehran Habib (Roll# 543818) secured 2nd Position in Commerce Group (Marks: 959/1100)
  • Aliza Shahid (Roll# 590852) nailed 3rd Position in Commerce Group (Marks: 953/1100)

The intermediate examinations are of immense importance for the Pakistani students as the performance in these exams play an important role in getting admission at medical, engineering and art institutes of Pakistan.
