Punjab Govt launches e-Rozgaar 2.0 Freelancing Training Program to empower youth

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has instituted the e-Rozgaar 2.0 freelancing training program in collaboration with the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, in response to the escalating unemployment and financial crises. This initiative is designed to impart freelancing skills to the youth of Punjab. The objective of this initiative is to establish e-Rozgaar centers in 36 districts to provide the educated youth of Punjab with the opportunity to independently work in the digital sector and earn an income.

It is anticipated that the e-Rozgaar 2.0 freelancing training program will offer employment to approximately 10,000 individuals annually and offer them the chance to become financially stable and entrepreneurs. Students will have the option to enroll in on-campus or online courses, and they will receive instruction in a variety of freelance skills that are currently in high demand. This revolutionary action by the Punjab Government is designed to address juvenile unemployment, self-employment, and to expand Pakistan’s global presence in the freelancing sector.

The objective of the e-Rozgaar 2.0 freelancing training program is to fight unemployment by offering professional training for freelancing on the Internet and to increase the inflow of foreign currency to Pakistan’s economy.

  1. Register

Start with the candidate registration form that is available for completion online. After registration, the user gets an email or an SMS with a username and a password to take the online test.

  1. Test

To take the online test, use the login details given. It is very important to fill this to check your basic qualifications before proceeding to other stages of the application process.

  1. Shortlist

Once the test is over, the application moves to the shortlisting stage. Those who qualify for the position are taken through the next processes in the selection procedure.

  1. Verification
