Punjab government introduces a special helpline for overseas Pakistanis

Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has created a dedicated helpline for the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission which will provide 24/7 support to overseas Pakistanis. Citizens can dial +92 42 111-672-672 to register any complaint or get assistance in any type of issues faced by them. For the most part, the commission aims to address issues from the following topics:

  1. Property disputes and housing societies
  2. Family disputes
  3. Criminal cases
  4. Telephone connection/problems
  5. Electricity connections/problems
  6. Sui Gas connections/problems
  7. Water connections
  8. Travel Agents & Airlines related cases
  9. Employment requests/recommendations
  10. Financial matters/disputes
  11. Bank related matters
  12. Co-operative Societies claims
  13. Advisory services/general information and any other nature of complaints

Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission at the beginning of the year 2015.
