Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) collaborates with Mera Sabaq Learning Systems to bring a unique educational series for children called ‘Alif Say Yay’ on PTCL Smart TV and Smart TV App.
The series covers multiple video tutorials especially created to enable early education of children. The content is hosted on PTCL’s Video-on-Demand section, which is free of cost for all users. Through this content, every child can have access and gain an understanding of the Urdu alphabets in a fun and unconventional way regardless of their economic and social background.
Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resource Officer, PTCL, while commenting on the initiative, said, “PTCL, being a socially responsible organization believes that education is the foundation of a progressive society. Quality education is the birthright of every individual and is a pre-requisite for a meaningful life. At PTCL, we encourage startups and realize the importance of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation for a better economic landscape of Pakistan.”

Mera Sabaq Learning Systems is an EdTech startup that operates with the objective of creating world-class tutoring videos. Such initiatives will encourage young people to take up creative fields of work that can benefit millions of children in Pakistan.
PTCL also played a pivotal role in mentoring creative startups incubated at the National Incubation Center based out of Peshawar and Karachi, whereby providing small businesses a chance to scale-up their business ideas in custom-designed spaces provided by the company.
