PTCL introduces first 4G LTE tablet in Pakistan

PTCL has just announced a new tablet – CharJi EVO Tab which will be the first home-grown 4G enabled tablet. The tablet will have Dual-Sim support, offer speeds of up to 36Mbps and come bundled with many premium PTCL services and offers.
Here are the detailed features for the PTCL tablet.

  • 7” screen with 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor
  • 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM with MicroSD slot for up to 64GB
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 3300 mAh Battery
  • Integration of Sygic (GPS Navigation app) into an app that will provide turn by turn voice navigation while driving a car
  • Primary SIM slot will offer 4G users speed of up to 36Mbps while the secondary SIM slot will offer GSM voice calls
  • 1-year free subscription to PTCL smart TV on the device for over 150 Live TV channels on the move
  • 8MP back and 2MP front camera

PTCL is definitely looking to get a share in the growing 4G market of Pakistan. The tablet does come packed with incentives that can attract the right audience.
