PTA Launches Mobile App Awards 2015

Pakistan Telecommunication Association collaborates here with Samsung Pakistan, Internet Society of Asia Pacific Bureau and all local mobile networks to bring Mobile App Awards 2015.

Individuals are required to submit innovative mobile applications that encourage the use of high speed internet. The contest is divided into six categories, namely: Agriculture, Kids, Security, Entertainment, Community and Business. The grading criteria shall depend upon the impact the app has created, the element of innovation, non-reuse of existing applications. PTA declares the contest as platform neutral and therefore applications can be submitted for all operating systems: iOS, Android, Windows, Blackberry.

Three winning applications will be awarded a grand prize money. The first prize winner will receive Rs. 100,000, whereas the second and third prize winner will be receiving Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively.

The applications can be submitted at PTA’s official website by 31st March 2015.
