In recent news, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Pakistan Software Export Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, and the University of Science & Technology, Bannu in order to begin the development of a software technology park in Bannu.
The MOU was signed by the Managing Director Osman Nasir at PSEB, Bannu Vice-Chancellor Dr. Khair Uz Zama, and KPIT Board Managing Directors Dr. Sahibzada Ali Mahmud.
According to Syed Amin Ul Haq mentioned how the IT industry in our country is expanding to a whole new level. He further emphasized the need for a more prominent relationship between the IT industry and public entities to ensure the further growth of the country’s IT sector.
KP Minister further added to this that through these ideas and implementations the nation is slowly achieving the vision of a more Digital Pakistan. Moreover, the Secretary of IT Sohail Rajput stressed the fact that how accelerating startups, freelancers as well as enhancing industry-academia linkages for the holistic growth of the IT industry is extremely crucial.
As of now, work and planning are underway of this technology park which will include numerous facilities and features.
