In recent news, President Dr. Arif Alvi highlighted Pakistan’s proactive approach in regards to the fourth industrial revolution hence making the country economically strong.
In an interview with the Islamabad Security Dialogue, President Dr. Alvi stated the following:
“A brilliant future lies ahead for Pakistan if it timely jumps on the ‘technological bandwagon’, which is expected to ensure an exponential progress by 30 times.”
According to the President, the country is sure to have a large economic growth due to the nation’s recent developments in respective technology domains such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and computing. In a decade, the country is expected to become a ‘geo-economic hub’ whilst achieving stability overall.
In order to achieve this, the President mentioned that the country will be implementing certain strategies which include an emphasis on online access to knowledge instead of the conventional brick-and-mortar setups hence accelerating the nation’s progress.
