Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) agreed to IBA Sukkur’s request to add four multiple-choice questions to the new Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
The PMDC registrar stated in a letter to IBA Sukkur that everyone in the province agreed to use the same standard test paper. However, they suggested using different paper codes to make things more consistent, like is done in other parts of the country.
According to the letter, PMDC has no problem with each multiple-choice question having four answer options that match the OMR answer sheet. This is something that other provinces have already started doing. The PMDC told IBA University to look at the MDCAT program and the PMDC Notification from 04-08-2024 for more information.
