Plan9 is the largest incubator in Pakistan and is backed by Punjab Information and Technology Board. Recent events have proven that the effort that is being put in mentoring, polishing and helping startups is paying off. The incubator has launched many successful startups since its beginning but some startups have achieved bigger milestones.
Appography, a startup incubated at Plan9 has been getting a great response. From the huge investment they have received from UK to their selection for Microsoft Ventures Accelerator, London, Appography is a startup with bright future. It also got selected for the Blackbox Connect problem that is organized by Google. The fact worth noting is that Appography is one of the two startups selected from the country this year. Last year, Groopic, another startup incubated at Plan9 made it to Blackbox connect.
XGear will attend The Next Web Boost Program which will be held in Amsterdam. Some of the world’s most influential people in technology will be attending the event and XGear team is all ‘geared’ up to awe everyone with their talent and skill.
Edakhla aims to build a portal between students and universities while 404 will enable a bus tracking system using GPS. Both these startups have qualified for Startup Turkey and will be going there to pitch their ideas infront of potential startups.
These are some great success stories: The AppJuice would like to wish all the startups and Plan9 heartiest congratulations!
