Punjab Information Technology Board`s (PITB) Project Plan9 in collaboration with Information Technology University (ITU), Punjab has launched Whizkids & Summer Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2019, to provide training to students through workshops. The core purpose of this bootcamp is to enable students in Pakistan to develop their skills in this tech-driven world.
The bootcamp has started on June 24 at Arfa Software Technology Park and includes interesting and educative workshops. It further offers thrilling activities to students from age 8-18. The training which students will receive in this summer camp would help them to understand the global trends and identify their future paths in the technology field.
The courses offered in this camp will focus on STEM learning as well as have a mixture of technology and entrepreneurship. The training courses include Scratch, Robotics, Snap Circuit, Graphic Designing, Marketing and App Development, etc. Moreover, to enhance the writing skills of students they will be offered Creative Content Writing courses.
The Punjab Whizkids 2019, are divided into two groups of children, one group will include children from age 8-13 years and the second with ages 14-18 years. The summer camp program organized with the support of PITB’s HR wing aims to deliver and nurture future STEM experts and to help the country’s youth shape their future. The workshops offered range from IT-based learning to personal development and confidence building.
