Pepsi to make its own Android Phone

Update: The spokesman of PepsiCo has officially announced that the organization will be collaborating with a smartphone manufacturer in China to help the brand in marketing by using Pepsi’s name. The name of smartphone manufacturer is not disclosed.

Yes, believe in what you have read above. PepsiCo. China (Soft Drink makers) is reportedly working on making its own smartphone with modest specifications and price tag. According to a report published at Mobipicker, a blog that reports and covers smartphones.

The report further details the specifications of the reportedly called “Pepsi P1”. The smartphone will come with a price tag of $205, 5.5inch 1080p display, 16GB of internel memory, 2GB of RAM, 3000mAh battery and 1.7Ghz of processor.

Don’t worry about the camera, Pepsi have you covered there. The phone will have 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

If the report is true, Pepsi P1 is expected to be announced in the month of October. If we look closely at the leaked image, the phone looks nothing different. It is more like a amalgamation of the Huawei and Samsung smartphones.
