The Pakistan Advertisers Society has announced the results of first round of PAS CrackIT 2014 competition. Out of over 30 teams, 10 have made it through to the final presentation round where they will present their proposed marketing plan to Nestle Digital Acceleration Team.
The top 3 teams will be invited to present their plans at Dig-IT 3.0 Digital Marketing conference in late November. Moreover, the 1st prize winner will be getting a cash prize of PKR 150,000/-, and a chance to pitch the solution to the advertisers fraternity.
PAS CrackIT is a 12 hour intensive competition where professionals and techies from all over the country collaborate to devise interesting and impactful marketing solutions. The winners, in addition to getting a huge prize money will have the opportunity to pitch their product to P@SHA and Plan9 Incubator.
The first round for this year’s CrackIT was held in October across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, where a huge number of teams participated. Each team comprised of 4 individuals in the roles of a Strategist, a Marketer, a Graphics Designer, and a Developer. The teams were given a real-life business challenge from Nestle Pakistan, the primary sponsor of this year’s competition. The participants had to propose a campaign addressing the challenge, complete with a marketing strategy and a prototype within the 12-hour session.
Final presentations are expected to be held later this week in Lahore. We will update the article as further details come through.
