i2i Challenge lets you participate in Impact Accelerator boot camp for startups at Finland

Invest2Innovate (i2i) in collaboration with WeCreate Pakistan is organizing a local pitching event by the name of “Get Slush’d” for impact-based startups. The event will be held on July 31st in Islamabad. For this event, i2i has partnered with International organization Slush to hold this in Pakistan and the winners of the event will get an expense-paid trip to Helsinki, Finland where they will get to attend the Slush Conference and the Impact Accelerator boot-camp.

This is not the first time – i2i has been partnering with certain international organizations to help the startups emerging in local scene to flourish and sustain as soon as possible. In past, i2i has hosted ChallengeX competition in Pakistan in which the winners got a chance to participate in the international competition held in USA.

Slush is a technology conference that gives ambitious startups a chance to meet with investors, executives, and media. Last year, Slush event was a huge success with more than14,000 people, 750 investors and 3500 companies in attendance. This year’s event focuses more on Impact Startups: purpose-driven startups with an aim to solve the issues in their societies. the event will be held in November this year and will be a great opportunity for networking and meeting potential partners or investors. The program includes a boot camp from 4th-13th November and the Slush Conference from 11th-12th November.

So if you’re interested in attending this international event and you think your impact startup has what it takes then Get Slush’d is not an event to be missed. Selected applicants will then pitch forth their ideas on the local event to be held on 31st of this month. The candidates shortlisted from there will then have to go through another round of applications and interviews to be chosen for Slush Impact.

One thing to note here is that while winning may be the best thing at such huge competitions and conferences, but one also gets a chance to network and get feedback from some of the best startup founders and investors throughout the world. If you are charged to participate, make sure you prepare yourself and wear your networking hat to get the most out of this. After all, you network is your net worth!
